Dear Friends and Patients:

At this time, we are limiting appointments to patients with urgent or emergent issues to help limit the spread of the coronavirus causing COVID-19.

All patients with routine appointments prior to April 30, 2020 will be rescheduled during our limited hours of Monday-Thursday, 10:00-2:00. To help preserve necessary protective equipment for hospitals, all elective surgical procedures (including cataract surgery) are being delayed. If you have a previously scheduled routine appointment, please contact us at (734) 459-7850 to reschedule your visit if we have not already contacted you. Patients with prescheduled appointments that fall under urgent/emergent categories will be contacted the day before their visit to pre-screen and confirm their appointment.

If you are having a problem and are not sure if it needs to be addressed urgently, please call us. Specifically, please contact us if you are having any problems including new flashes or floaters, sudden changes in your vision, redness, light sensitivity, or pain. We are now scheduling telehealth visits (via Skype) and will provide you with instructions as well as a date/time to speak with our physicians. If you need to be seen, we are scheduling patients in a manner to avoid any wait times as well limit any contact with any other persons or surfaces in the office.  As always, we take great pride in the cleanliness and sanitization of our office.  Preventing infections and cross-contamination has always been our priority. If you have specific concerns, please reach out to us at (734) 459-7850.
